This Section features the development of swing mechanics and tennis fundamentals. Most swings have three distinct phases; preparation, contact, and the follow-through. The instruction below details the commonalities of these phases in a visual sense so a player can develop better swings quicker. Even though many professional and college players have small differences in their swings, many of the fundamentals are the same and can be learned by anyone.
